Each neighborhood has its own character, features and identity. Dorchester is the largest multicultural neighborhood of Boston. Within Dorchester are residential areas called Savin Hill, Jones Hill, Four Corners, Franklin Field, Franklin Hill, Ashmont, Meeting House Hill, Popes Hill, Neponset, and Port Norfolk.
I am located in the Franklin Park Golf Course area. Although it is considered a safe neighborhood, it has minor problems. The population consists of Irish, Caribbean, German, Cape Verdeans, Italian, Asians, Latinos, Hispanics, & Americans. The beauty of my area is that mostly all of us know each other. We are homeowners, whom love our area and we take pride in maintaining it.
