Hello, I have been doing Hoemstay programs for over 12 years. We enjoy hosting all either local, Domestic and or International students. We are a very friendly, outgoing, vibrant, and people person family. I have 4 lovely daughters, they vary in age, see profile for ages, one in high School, the other a Senior in College, 2 Adults. We interact with our students as family, but don't overwhelm them. We give them space as they need or wish. We are an easy family to get along with, very energetic, helpful and supportive to your needs. We will help you with the English as well as, what other help is needed. We are a peaceful but happy go Lucky family. We live in a safe, quiet & very diverse neighborhood, which is only a 5 min. walk to the Public transportation and also 15 minutes by train to downtown Boston, which connects to several other subway stations that are easily accessible to most schools surrounding the Boston Area. The Home is Located in the Greatest area of DORCHESTER MA. 02124 off of Ashmont Street and Off Of Dorchester AVE.
We travel alot during School vacations and summer breaks to other countries. We have been to Canada several times to visit family, Mexico, Barbados,Puerto Rico, Belize, St.Maarten, Hawaii, Jamaica Aruba, DR and many other states/countries and met plenty people of all cultures.
We like to learn other cultures as well as teach our culture. We love to shop, eat out occasionally, go to movies and bowling. We do not smoke. The room is a Clean Private furnished room that is furnished with a bed clean linen, a dresser with drawers, desk and a couch for you to sit on at your leisure.
Private bathroom that is not shared with family. The help yourself morning breakfast is basically at your leisure, we will advise you and show you the food items that will be available for you. Feel free to ask questions. When you contact us to reserve the room for an incoming student/renter, once payment is made, it is Non refundable and the room is reserved for the time period you requested for your homestay. We are looking forward to hosting you as our homestay student, you will be very comfortable and very pleased with us.
