Hi! My name is Denise and I’m a young professional, an English and Spanish teacher in the local school district. I love to travel and meet new people! In fact I have traveled to 30 countries so far, and hope to explore more places. Hosting international students is a great way to meet new people and I have enjoyed hosting graduate students from several countries over the past four years.

I live in Brookline, which is right next to Boston, and I have a small bedroom that is furnished and available. We would share the bathroom, kitchen and living room. In the kitchen there is a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and a large refrigerator. There are washers and dryers for doing laundry in the apartment complex. My apartment is fully furnished so you wouldn't need to bring anything. It is located in the Washington Square neighborhood of Brookline, and it is a one minute walk from the train stop on the C – line (green) that goes by the same name. It’s very quick and easy to arrive at many points in Boston and Cambridge. There are many young professionals and graduate students in the area, as well as restaurants, shops and sources of entertainment. Washington Square is also a very safe neighborhood.

There’s a TV in the living room that’s available for your use. You can access local channels, however, since I don’t watch much TV there are no paid cable channels. The TV is connected to Wi-Fi so you can watch online shows.
